Rental Contracts for Monthly Villa Rentals in Bali
3 June 2021 by AdeBali is one of the most beautiful, yet affordable destinations in Southeast Asia. Who wouldn’t want to spend a few months at a time in Bali to experience everything that the island has to offer? If this is part of your plan, then you’d be happy to know that there are beautiful luxury villas available for a monthly rent that would make the perfect holiday home! With such a wide range of options, you can certainly find a villa that will suit your preference and needs. The first thing that you should know is that price alone shouldn’t be the defining factor when it comes to choosing a private monthly villa for rent. Other factors to consider would include location, service, amenities, maintenance, security, and/or staff. Be aware that you could also be overpaying for services or features that aren’t exactly part of your agreement and/or expectations. Consider speaking to your landlord to set up a written rental contract and/or agreement before you proceed. In other parts of the world, a rental contract would potentially protect you as a tenant against an unfair lawsuit; this won’t be its main purpose here in Bali as such disputes rarely occur. The main purpose of an agreement or a contract is to set expectations on both sides, so you are both clear on what the landlord is offering and what you will be receiving. Helping you choose quality monthly villa rentals in Bali Not all landlords will get into the hassle of writing up a legal rental contract. Most landlords are happy with verbal agreements and base their businesses on good faith. However, a written rental contract can protect you from unexpected matters such as renovations, increased monthly rates, maintenance, etc. It is a clear set of guidelines on obligations, responsibilities, and liability on both the tenant and the landlord so that you can be sure of a pleasant, long-term rental experience while you’re here in Bali. Do you have any questions about leasing a villa in Bali? If you have any inquiries about buying or renting a property in Bali, you can come to us for advice. Contact Bali Coconut Living.
Loft Apartments for Long Term Rentals in Bali
28 April 2021 by AdeMost people don’t realize that their lifestyles can be affected by the style of their homes. At least, the apartment-style villas of Menara Loft Apartment would give you a fresh, new perspective of what could be possible while staying in a Bali long-term villa. A Studio Apartment for Long Term Rental in Bali In a post last month, we covered Leo Apartments in east Kerobokan, a beautiful complex comprising several 2-story apartment units and a shared pool — a typical Balinese apartment usually looks like this. But Menara Loft Apartment is different. Nestled on 120 square meters of land, this exclusive unit is a modern home with its own pool and a private garden patio. The villa makes use of loft architecture to create additional space for a ‘bedroom’, which is fitted over the dining room, and by doing so, creating a sense of openness and space. In fact, as the name suggests, Menara Loft Apartment does feel like it has plenty of breathing room, both indoors and outdoors. The perfect home for couples When it rains, the light tapping of the raindrops echoing against the solid wood board ceiling will lull you into a state of relaxation and peace as you cozy up with your partner in the loft-style bedroom. It is technically not a bedroom — we would classify the entire home as a studio apartment with a villa setting. Absolutely perfect for child-free couples, this loft-style studio apartment is the ideal long term rental home that provides a fantastic living space at an affordable yearly rate. Incredibly Close to the Beach The added benefits of Menara Loft Apartment to your modern lifestyle do not stop there. How would you like to go on a routine walk to the beach with your partner? No plans, no preparations, just a spontaneous walk to Berawa beach — which would take you no more than 20 minutes to reach on foot (5 minutes with a scooter)! Would you like to know more about this loft apartment? Call us at +62 361 847 6727 (Bali Coconut Living) and we’ll show you around the place.
Luxury Bali Apartment for Long Term or Monthly Rentals
1 March 2021 by AdeApartments in Bali don’t typically look like the high-rise apartments in large metropolitan areas. For one, a Bali apartment consists of at least two building units, back-to-back, that are typically two stories tall. The buildings share a small private driveway and walkway, and the more luxurious of the apartments have a shared swimming pool and cleaning services. In this article, we feature Leo Apartment, a luxury apartment in Kerobokan, North Kuta, that offers you a 4-star hotel experience for one whole month at a fraction of the price. Of course, you can extend your stay as this apartment is also suitable for long-term stays. It’s a perfect option for longer-term stays or frequent visitors, but without the commitment to own a villa in Bali. Perfect location If you are staying long term, you shouldn’t choose a property that is directly near the beach, unless you absolutely love seeing the beach every single day of your stay in Bali. Kuta and Seminyak beaches, while beautiful in many respects, are high-traffic tourist zones, meaning getting in and out of your residential area will be more challenging due to traffic the closer you are to the beach. Leo Apartment is located around 10-20 minutes from the buzzing seaside destinations, and its location offers you a chance to explore other parts of Bali that are equally beautiful but less traveled, such as Tabanan, Karangasem, and Bedugul. Added value at every detail The management at Leo Apartment has dedicated long hours to preparing the best experiences possible for its residents. From the chosen furnishings to the cleaning and maintenance service that are fully responsible for keeping the apartment rooms and surroundings in tip-top shape. Choosing an apartment in Bali for long-term rental may pay off in the long run. You don’t have to buy any furniture, appliances or kitchen utensils in order to live a comfortable and normal lifestyle. You also don’t have to spend hours maintaining every facet of your property. Finally, you are also not tied to one single location, giving you ultimate freedom. Should you have any questions, our friendly representatives here at Bali Coconut Living can help you out. Renting a Bali Yearly Rental Home? Here is a Pro Tip
1 February 2021 by AdeExcited to browse our range of properties to choose from? Here are some useful tips to know before you choose your favorite villa. Bali yearly rentals offer a lot of value for those who come to Bali to work, play, and rest. After all, the island is a bustling marketplace for remote-working creative professionals, and it is a great idea to make one of the many beautiful and affordable villas your home — a temporary home it seems, but a home nevertheless. Excited to browse our range of properties? Here are some useful tips to know before you choose your favorite villa. 1. Bali yearly rental access is sometimes better than distance It is true that location is the most important factor, but how do you determine which location is right for you? Do you first consider the distance to the beach, or a favorite hotspot, or to your favorite Bali destination? You may not want to live in a remote location away from the excitement, but you also do not want to live where you play — the novelty and excitement of your favorite place is diminished once you are accustomed to it. Therefore, pick a location where it is easy to access not just your favorite places, but also the rest of Bali. This makes it easy to pursue a change of pace at a whim. 2. Consider each villa’s facilities and surroundings As you will live in the villa for at least a year, it is important to get comfortable by taking advantage of the conveniences that our villas have to offer. Gardener, housemaid, and rubbish collection are extra value additions that you can easily outsource with our help. Check for the rates on the internet connection as well as its signal strength and reliability. Other than that, consider your surroundings. Do you have access to the grocery store or restaurants for a good meal? Is the villa private enough that you can enjoy a quiet evening in peace? 3. Ask about subletting policies for your Bali yearly rental Each landlord has different rules about subletting (leasing to a subtenant). After living here for quite some time, you may consider renting one of your rooms to a holiday tourist. In case this is your plan, please have a thorough discussion with the landlord. In general, subletting is most likely possible with a leasehold title. It is inadvisable to sublet a villa regularly without the appropriate license. Check out our villas at Bali Coconut Living, a property agent that can help you find your long term villa rental in Bali. We are also a villa management service to help landlords manage their villas for them.

Yearly Villa in Bali: Villa Nevada 6
21 December 2020 by AdeVilla Nevada 6 is available for yearly rent, offering a strategic home base at Batu Belig Road and great stay experiences to enjoy once the villa is yours. Villa Nevada 6 isn’t your average 3-bedroom medium-sized villa. For a villa of this size and caliber, it surely can accommodate high quality living for a family of four with two children, or even a group of nomadic digital talents wanting to tap into the elusive Balinese market. Villa Nevada 6 is available for yearly rental in Bali at a decent price, offering a great location at Batu Belig Road as well as great stay experiences that can be enjoyed once the villa is yours. Let’s take a peek into the villa. Spacious gardens for a yearly villa in Bali The villa sits on a generous 300 square meters of land, which means it can accommodate a small swimming pool and a decent outdoor sitting area, a perfect place to have a picnic within the villa grounds. Reclining on a daybed in the garden next to a pool while working or relaxing, is an ideal picture of the Bali lifestyle. Most of the villas we feature in Bali Coconut Living put an emphasis on being close to nature. After all, Bali is an island that is blessed with natural beauty, and residents of a villa should be exposed to it as much as possible. The garden features many tropical plants with large leaves, which offers pleasant sights and fresh air. Some plants are flowering plants that are simple to maintain; all you need to do is to water them a little bit during the dry season, but you can let nature do the rest during the monsoon season. The interior of Villa Nevada 6 If there is one word to describe this Bali yearly villa, it is home. It is a noun, not an adjective, for many reasons. Any villa can be cozy, homey, and welcoming, but not any villa can be a home. Villa Nevada 6 in particular is a home to many people who have rented it before. The villa is simple, minimalistic, with traditional charms mixed with contemporary arts and decorative features. It is the feeling that you can find in most people’s homes — a little bit of something new from the home depot, mixed in with family heirlooms and objects of sentiment. The interior design of Villa Nevada 6 is familiar yet refreshing. To learn more about this yearly villa in Bali, simply talk to us.

Guide to Canggu: Activities, Villa Rentals, and More!
28 April 2020 by AdeCanggu is the new Seminyak. It’s a cool place to be, and more importantly, much cheaper. It’s becoming more and more popular among freelance travellers and digital nomads. Families who frequented Kuta, Seminyak, and Jimbaran are now looking for something new, and they are looking at Canggu. Where can you stay in Canggu? You can find a plenty of villas waiting to be occupied at very interesting rates. Currently in our catalogue, the two best villas at a strategic range between the serene paddy field landscapes and the beach are Villa Senyuman and Villa Maimun 1. Villa Senyuman is a 2-bedroom, 2-story villa. It has a wide pool, fully equipped kitchen, open living space, garden and parking area. Villa Maimun 1 is a 3-bedroom, 2-story villa sitting on 300 m2 of land. It’s perfect for larger families or friends looking for long-term holiday rentals. The surfing beaches Canggu has waves that accommodate surfers of all levels spread over the various beaches. If you are new to surfing, there are surfing schools and private instructors stationed along the seashore to help you to learn or get better at this exciting water sport. In the parts with more challenging waves, expert surfers gather for the surf season from May to September. Even if you’re not into surfing, there are still plenty of activities to do on the Canggu beaches. You love food, swimming pools and music? Go to Tropicola Beach Club. Pura Tanah Lot Have you seen a painting of a Balinese temple surrounded by the sea with a sunset in the background? You won’t believe that it’s even more impressive in real life, this postcard view of the world-famous Pura Tanah Lot with a majestic sunset in the background. The unique thing about this temple is that it is inaccessible most of the time due to the high tide. Certain weeks, even at ‘low tide’ the shallow path towards the temple is submerged a few dozen centimetres. But unsurprisingly, the Balinese calendar has marked certain rituals to be conducted at the exact times the temple is accessible. Despite having so many visitors every year, Tanah Lot Temple remains one of the most mysterious and rather curious places in Bali. Be sure to check it out! Where to shop and eat in Canggu? Canggu isn’t the isolated coastal town that it once was. The town is abundant with restaurants, clubs, bars, cafes, specialty shops, and coworking spaces. Throughout the entire length of Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong, you will find places to eat and shop, and you will never truly finish exploring the area as there are so many things to do. Check out the road, which ends on Old Man’s Bar, one of the best sunset spots from Batu Bolong Beach. Don’t forget to also check out entertainment and sporting venues like the Splash Waterpark Bali, Finns Recreation Club and Tarukan Equestrian Centre. Too many things to do in Canggu There are so many things to do in Canggu that it’s necessary to stay in a villa for at least a week or even a month. Luckily Bali Coconut Living has a catalogue of all the villas you can rent monthly around Batu Belig. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive special offers and important updates about property in Bali!
How to Budget for Long-Term Villa Rentals in Bali
8 April 2020 by AdeStaying for a month in a hotel room in Bali may not sound appealing to you. If you are browsing villas for a long-term rental instead, then you are on the right track to save money for traveling while enjoying additional benefits that villas can offer. At Bali Coconut Living, we are here to help you settle down in Bali quicker and more comfortably. Here is our short guide on how to prepare a budget for your villa. How costly is traveling in Bali? This is a fair question to ask with not one well-defined answer – it depends on 2 things: location of your stay, and the type of accommodation. A good rule of thumb for location is that the easier it is for tourists to access the location, the more expensive the accommodation will be. The south of Bali has some of the most expensive real estate in the entire country, but you can find great accommodations for your money’s worth in the northern regions (Buleleng, and Bangli), the eastern region (Karangasem), or in the western regions (Tabanan, and Jembrana). Of course, the northern and western regions are not that popular due to the large distance from the capital (Denpasar), and that may cost you other conveniences like hospitals, banks, and English-speaking locals who can help you. If you’re not planning to explore much in these regions, renting a villa in the south is a safer bet. Quick guideline for accommodation costs In South Bali, you can get by with less than US$11 a night. You’d get a small room with a single window, a fan, a cold shower, and if you’re really lucky, you have a pool. With US$12 to US$25 a night, you should expect air conditioning, hot water shower, a small fridge, wifi and breakfast – although arguably, you can find more satisfying breakfast across the street, if you don’t mind street food. Accommodations like these most likely include swimming pools. At luxury hotel levels, you should expect greater comfort with a price of at least US$36 a night. What can villas offer that hostels and hotels do not? In short, you can enjoy air conditioned rooms, hot showers, a personal kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove and utilities, a large living room with TV, fast wifi, enough space for friends or family, and possibly a large swimming pool – all this for the price of 12 US-dollars per person per night. You should definitely check out Villa Cendrawasih in coastal Pererenan (near Canggu). This is one of the many villas in our catalogue, and we normally list villas that are around the popular hot spots in South Bali – Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Tanah Lot. Search your new holiday home in Bali Renting and buying holiday homes in Bali is easier than ever. Our agents are happy to assist you with legal document preparations and payment arrangements, so you don’t have to spend too much mental energy in planning your long-term holiday.
